     James Norcott Crone was born in 1788.1 He was the son of Robert Fennell Crone and Buttevant Martha Norcott.1 He died on 9 November 1853.1
     James Norcott Crone was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Jean Charteris was baptised on 30 August 1694.1 She was the daughter of William Charteris of Brigmuir.1 She married Sir John Jardine of Applegirth, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 1st Bt. and Lady Margaret Douglas, in 1721.1 She died on 7 February 1762 at age 67.1
     From 1721, her married name became Jardine.1

     Janet Dorcas Maule was the daughter of Thomas Maule.2 She married Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 6th Bt., son of Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 5th Bt. and Barbara de la Motte, before 1799.1 She died on 9 August 1825 at Madeira, Portugal.1
     From before 1799, her married name became Jardine.1

     Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 7th Bt. was born on 13 February 1800.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 6th Bt. and Janet Dorcas Maule.2 He married, firstly, Janes Home Lizars, daughter of Daniel Lizars, on 28 June 1820.1 He married, secondly, Hyacinthe Symonds, daughter of Reverend William Samuel Symonds, on 18 November 1871.1 He died on 9 November 1874 at age 74.1
     Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 7th Bt. succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Jardine, of Applegirth [N.S., 1672] in 1821.1 He was Commissioner of salmon industries in 1860.1 He lived at Jardine Hall, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1 He also had four daughters by his first wife.1
