     Jane Gertrude Jardine was the daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger.2 She married Francis Claud Grey, son of Captain F. L. Grey, on 4 October 1905.1 She died on 9 September 1919.1
     From 4 October 1905, her married name became Grey.

     He gained the rank of Major in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1
