     Becher Bousfield was born on 9 July 1786 at Southwell St. Mary Minster, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He was the son of John Bousfield and Mary Becher.1 He married Henrietta Becher, daughter of Henry Becher and unknown wife (?), on 12 April 1831.1 He died in March 1875 at age 88.1
     Becher Bousfield gained the rank of on 25 September 1803 in the service of the 5th Dragoon Militia.1 He retired from the military on 11 November 1829.1 He lived at Halam Hill Farm, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.1
