     Major Michael Henry Marsham, 7th Earl of Romney was born on 22 November 1910 at Norfolk, England.1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Reginald Hastings Marsham and Dora Hermione North.3 He married Frances Aileen Landale, daughter of Captain James Russell Landale and Lilian Constance Sheila Walker, on 28 June 1939.1 He died on 5 June 2004 at age 93 at Norfolk, England.4,2
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (TA).1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Marsham [U.K., 1801] on 6 September 1975.3 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Romney, of the Mote [U.K., 1801] on 6 September 1975.3 He succeeded as the 9th Baron of Romney, co. Kent [G.B., 1716] on 6 September 1975.3 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn's Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 6 September 1975.3

     Frances Aileen Landale was the daughter of Captain James Russell Landale and Lilian Constance Sheila Walker.2 She married Major Michael Henry Marsham, 7th Earl of Romney, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Reginald Hastings Marsham and Dora Hermione North, on 28 June 1939.1 She died on 2 October 1995.1
     Her married name became Marsham. After her marriage, Frances Aileen Landale was styled as Countess of Romney on 6 September 1975.

     Captain James Russell Landale was born in 1882 at India.1,2 He was the son of James Landale and Harriette Rosa Macintire.2 He married Lilian Constance Sheila Walker, daughter of Sir George Casson Walker and Fanny Coates, on 28 February 1911 at Chadderghaut, Madras, India.2 He died on 8 March 1915 at Basra, IraqG, while on active duty.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Queen Victoria's Own Rajput Light Infantry.1

     Julian Charles Marsham, 8th Earl of Romney was born on 28 March 1948.2 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Peter William Marsham and Hersey Coke.2 He married Catriona Ann Stewart, daughter of Colonel Sir Robert Christie Stewart and Ann Grizel Cochrane, on 6 September 1975.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He lived in 2003 at Gayton Hall, King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.2 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Marsham [U.K., 1801] on 5 June 2004. He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Romney, of the Mote [U.K., 1801] on 5 June 2004.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn's Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 5 June 2004. He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Romney, co. Kent [G.B., 1716] on 5 June 2004.

     Lady Lavinia Marsham was born on 6 February 1950.2 She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Peter William Marsham and Hersey Coke.2,1 She married Simon James Macdonald Lockhart, son of Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart, 25th of the Lee and Ella Catriona Gordon, on 7 September 1973.1
     From 7 September 1973, her married name became Macdonald Lockhart.1 She lived in 2003 at Thornton Hill, Fossoway, Kinross-shire, Scotland.2 On 26 June 2006 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.3
