     Richard Turner Becher was baptised on 4 September 1712 at St. Mary, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Edward Becher and Bridget Lowe.1 He married, firstly, Anne Harding on 26 October 1742 at North MuskhamG.1,2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Lowe, daughter of Samuel Lowe and Elizabeth Sherbrooke, on 16 November 1761 at Southwell St. Mary Minster, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.3,2 He died circa December 1770.2 He was buried on 13 December 1770 at St. Mary, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.2
     He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.1 He lived at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     He gained the rank of Ensign in January 1768 in the 16th Regiment of Foot.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in June 1775.2

     From 4 May 1769, her married name became Bugg.1 From 23 September 1780, her married name became Becher.1
