     George Howe Furse was born on 10 June 1808 at London, England.1 He was the son of Edward Furse and Lady Maria Juliana Howe.1 He was baptised on 26 December 1808 at St. James Church, Piccadilly, London, England.1 He married Martha Fall on 17 March 1836.1 He died on 31 December 1876 at age 68.1
     George Howe Furse emigrated to U.S.A. arriving on 1829.1 He was a teacher circa 1830 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A..1 In 1832 at St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., he signed onto William Sublette's fur trading expedition into the Wyoming Tetons.1 He was a tutor to the household of Meredith Marmaduke circa 1833 at Arrow Rock, Missouri, U.S.A..1 He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen on 24 July 1840.1 He was a farmer circa 1858 at Linn County, Kansas, U.S.A..1
