     Sir Edmund Hungerford Lechmere, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 May 1792. He is the son of Sir Anthony Lechmere, 1st Bt. He married Maria Clara Murray, daughter of David Murray and (?) Elizabeth, in 1819.2 He died on 2 April 1856 at age 63.
     Sir Edmund Hungerford Lechmere, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Lechmere.

     Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere was the daughter of Sir Edmund Hungerford Lechmere, 2nd Bt.2 She married Evelyn Philip Shirley, son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope, on 4 August 1842.1 She died on 25 August 1894.1
     From 4 August 1842, her married name became Shirley.

     Major John Evelyn Shirley was born on 11 November 1922.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Evelyn Charles Shirley and Kathleen Mary Phyllis Cardew.2 He married Judith Margaret Dugdale, daughter of Sir William Francis Stratford Dugdale, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilmour, on 17 January 1952.1
     Major John Evelyn Shirley was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1945.1 He retired from the military in 1955, with the rank of Major, late of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He lived in 2003 at Ormly Hall, Ramsey, Isle of Man.1
