     Major William Shirley is the son of Evelyn Shirley and Phillis Byam Wollaston.2
     Major William Shirley gained the rank of Major in 1815 in the service of the 7th Light Dragoons.1 He fought in the Battle of Quatre BRas on 16 June 1815 at Quatre-Bras, Belgium.3 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815 at Waterloo, Belgium.3

     Reverend James Shirley was born on 15 January 1802.1 He was the son of Evelyn Shirley and Phillis Byam Wollaston.2 He married Catherine Louisa Dolphin, daughter of Reverend John Dolphin, on 29 December 1831.1 He died on 7 January 1870 at age 67.1
     Reverend James Shirley was the Rector at Frettenham, Norfolk, England.1 He had three sons and four daughters, all died unmarried.1

     General Sir Horatio Shirley gained the rank of General Colonel in the service of the 88th Foot.3 He fought in the Battle of Inkermann.3 He fought in the Battle of the Alma.1 He fought in the Siege of Sebastopol.3 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He was decorated with the award of Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1

     Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley was born on 20 July 1810.1 He was the son of Evelyn Shirley and Phillis Byam Wollaston.2 He married, firstly, Georgina Emily Cookson, daughter of Reverend William Cookson, on 24 August 1841.1 He married, secondly, Mary Beadon Turner, daughter of Edward Turner, on 3 September 1853.1 He married, thirdly, Francesca Vincenzia Edith Money, daughter of Captain John Ernle Money, in 1878.1 He died on 8 October 1891 at age 81.1
     Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Vicar at Stinsford, Dorset, England.1 He had two other sons and a daughter by his first wife (all died unmarried).1
