     Sir Edward Unton was the son of Sir Edward Unton and Anne Seymour.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Knightley, daughter of Sir Richard Knightley.2 He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Hastings, daughter of George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon and Dorothy Port, in 1581.1,2 He died in 1589, slain abroad.2
     Sir Edward Unton held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Berkshire from 1585 to 1586.2
