     Captain John Blakeney was the son of Colonel John Blakeney.1 He died on 10 July 1815 at Louisiana, U.S.A., killed in action.1
     Captain John Blakeney fought in the War of 1812.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Battalion Essex Regiment.1

     Bridget Blakeney was the daughter of Captain Theophilus Blakeney and Margaret Stafford.1 She married Sir Richard Bligh St. George, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Richard St. George, 1st Bt. and Sarah Persse, in April 1807, they had four sons and one other daughter.1 She died in December 1866.1
     From April 1807, her married name became St. George.1
