Sarah Persse was born before 1748 at Roxborough House, County Galway, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Robert Persse and Elizabeth Parsons.1 She married Sir Richard St. George, 1st Bt., son of George St. George and Elizabeth Bligh, on 27 July 1764.1 She died in July 1798 at Merrion Square, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

Rt. Hon. Thomas Bligh was born circa 1654.3 He was the son of John Bligh and Catherine Fuller.2 He married Elizabeth Naper, daughter of Colonel James Naper, on 9 December 1682.3 He died on 28 August 1710.3
In 1668 he was granted large tracts of land in Ireland.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Meath [Ireland] between 1695 and 1710.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) in 1704.4 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.).4 He lived at Rathmore, County Meath, Ireland.1
