     John Eyre was born on 15 May 1794.2 He was the son of Colonel Giles Eyre and Anne Daly.3,2 He married May Armit, daughter of William Armit, on 21 August 1818.2 He died on 18 February 1856 at age 61, killed in the hunting field.2
     He lived at Eyre Court Castle, Dononaughta, County Galway, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.2

     Sir Lawrence Charles Edward Downing Dowdall was the son of Reverand Launcelot Dowdall and Maria Downing.1 He married Elizabeth Frances Edie, daughter of Alexander Clotworthy Downing Leckie Edie and Diana Maria Battley, on 1 August 1914 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 23 February 1936.1
     He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He was the Head of the Administrative Department, Chief Secretary of Ireland's Office.1
