     Anchoretta Eyre was born after 1794.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Giles Eyre and Anne Daly.1 She married Burton de Burgh Persse, son of Burton Persse and Sarah Pennefather, on 2 January 1820 at Ireland.1 She died on 27 April 1824 at Persse Lodge, County Galway, Ireland.1
      From 2 January 1820, her married name became Persse.1

     Colonel Giles Eyre was baptised on 19 July 1766.2 He was the son of Richard Eyre and Anchoretta Eyre.3 He married, firstly, Anne Daly, daughter of Michael Daly and Lady Joanna Gore, on 28 September 1792.4 He married, secondly, Sophia Walsh, daughter of Jonathan Walsh, in 1821.2 He died in 1830.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1798.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Galway Militia.2 He lived at Eyrecourt, County Galway, Ireland.2

     Burton Robert Parsons Persse was born on 4 November 1828.2 He was the son of Burton de Burgh Persse and Matilda Persse.1 He married, firstly, Madeline Eliza Persse, daughter of Colonel William Persse and Elizabeth Moore, on 22 April 1852.2 He married, secondly, Georgina Moore in February 1885.2 He died in May 1885 at age 56.2
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.2 He was Master of Foxhounds, Galway Blazers between 1852 and 1885.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1862.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.3 He lived at Moyode Castle, County Galway, Ireland.3
