     Mary Poyntz was baptised on 27 September 1604.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Poyntz and Grissell Roberts.2 She married, secondly, Walter Bethell.1 She married, firstly, John Walter on 12 May 1636.1
     Her married name became Bethell.1 From 12 May 1636, her married name became Walter.1
