     Margaret Poyntz is the daughter of Sir Robert Poyntz and Frances Gibbons.2 She married, firstly, Thomas Gorges, son of Sir Robert Gorges, on 10 December 1632.1 She married, secondly, Sir Richard Hastings, 1st and last Bt., son of Sir Henry Hastings and Mabel Faunt, on 16 February 1646/47.3 She married, thirdly, Samuel Gorges on 24 September 1669.3
     From 10 December 1632, her married name became Gorges.1 From 16 February 1646/47, her married name became Hastings.3 From 24 September 1669, her married name became Gorges.

     Grissell Roberts is the daughter of Walter Roberts.1 She married, firstly, Gervase Gibbons before 1598.1 She married, secondly, Gregory Price before 1599.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John Poyntz, son of Sir Nicholas Poyntz and Anne Verney, on 2 June 1600.1
     From before 1598, her married name became Gibbons.1 From before 1599, her married name became Price.1 From 2 June 1600, her married name became Poyntz.1

     Sir John Poyntz was born circa 1646.3 He was the son of Sir Robert Poyntz and Cecilia Smith.2 He married Anne Caesar, daughter of Robert Caesar, circa 2 May 1667.1 He died circa October 1680, without issue.3 He was buried on 17 October 1680.3
     Sir John Poyntz was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was invested as a Knight on 24 February 1665/66.1 He lived at Iron Acton, Gloucestershire, England.1
