     Sir John Maxwell was born in 1512. He was the son of Robert Maxwell, 4th Lord Maxwell and Janet Douglas. He married Agnes Herries, Baroness Herries of Terregles, daughter of William Herries, 3rd Lord Herries of Terregles and Catherine Kennedy, after 18 December 1547. He died on 20 January 1582/83.
     As a result of his marriage, Sir John Maxwell was styled as Lord Herries of Terregles.

     Sir Thomas Nicolson, 1st Bt. was born circa 1664.1 He was the son of Sir George Nicolson, Lord Kemney and Margaret Halyburton.1 He married Margaret Nicolson, daughter of Sir Thomas Nicolson of Carnock, 2nd Bt. and Lady Margaret Livingstone, circa 1688.1 He died on 31 August 1728, without male issue.1
     Sir Thomas Nicolson, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Nicolson, of Kemney, Aberdeenshire [Scotland] on 15 April 1700.1

     Herbert Loveday Cooke Hordern was born on 25 January 1835.1 He was the son of Reverend James Hordern and Mary Owen Radcliffe.1 He married Emily Maria Maudslay, daughter of Thomas Henry Maudslay, on 13 September 1859.1 He died on 21 April 1915 at age 80.1
     Herbert Loveday Cooke Hordern was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He lived at Throwley House, Faversham, Kent, England.1

     Hon. Katherine Frances Chetwynd was born in 1865. She was the daughter of Richard Walter Chetwynd, 7th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Harriet Johanna Campbell.2 She married George Blezard, son of Robert Blezard, on 6 June 1889.1 She died on 29 June 1949.1

     Richard Walter Chetwynd, 7th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven was born on 26 July 1823.1 He was the son of Richard Walter Chetwynd, 6th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Mary Moss.1,2 He married Harriet Johanna Campbell, daughter of Walter Frederick Campbell of Islay and Eleanor Charteris, on 16 March 1858 at St. Peter's Church, Pimlico, London, England.3 He died on 23 January 1911 at age 87 at 25 Elvaston Place, Pimlico, London, England, from pneumonia.3 He was buried on 27 January 1911 at Brookwood, Surrey, England.3
     Richard Walter Chetwynd, 7th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1849 in the service of the 14th Dragoons.3 He retired from the military in 1853.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven, co. Kerry [I., 1717] on 6 December 1879.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron of Rathdowne, co. Dublin [I., 1717] on 6 December 1879.1
