     Sir Anthony Vincent, 2nd Bt. was born in 1594 at Stoke d'Abernon, Surrey, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Vincent, 1st Bt. and Sarah Paulet.2,1 He married Elizabeth Acland, daughter of Sir Arthur Acland and Eleanor Mallet.1 He died in 1642.1
     He was appointed Knight on 11 September 1617.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex from 1626 to 1627.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey from 1626 to 1627.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Vincent, of D'Abernon, co. Surrey [E., 1620] in 1640.1

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1532.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Dorset in 1536.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1536.2 He was appointed Knight in 1537.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1542.2 He was Treasurer of the English Army at the Siege of Boulogne in 1544.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1547.2 He held the office of Governor of Jersey between 1550 and 1572.1 He was vice-president of the Council of Welsh Marches in 1559.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset in 1572.1 He had two younger sons and two daughters by his first wife.1
