     Elizabeth Waldegrave is the daughter of Thomas Waldegrave.1 She married Sir John Cordell, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Cordell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Wright, before 1674.1
     From before 1674, her married name became Cordell.1

     Thomas Waldegrave was born circa 1608.1 He was the son of Sir William Waldegrave and Jemima Bacon.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Acland, daughter of Sir Arthur Acland and Eleanor Mallet.1 He married, firstly, Jane Kemp, daughter of Sir Robert Kemp, 1st Bt. and Jane Browne.1 He died on 17 April 1677.1
     He lived at Smallbridge, Suffolk, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury between 1661 and 1677.1
