     Avery Buxton was born on 3 July 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Fowell Buxton and Mary Harbord.² She married Colonel Hon. Guy Greville Wilson, son of Charles Henry Wilson, 1st Baron Nunburnholme and Florence Jane Helen Wellesley, on 22 May 1911.¹ She died in 1982.²

Geoffrey Fowell Buxton and Mary Harbord, on 22 May 1911.¹ He died on 1 February 1943 at age 65.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of officer in the 11th Hussars.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hull between 1907 and 1918.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.²

     Hazel Mary Buxton was born on 19 January 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Fowell Buxton and Mary Harbord.² She married Captain Winchester St. George Clowes on 10 August 1914.¹ She died on 3 March 1967 at age 74, without issue.¹
     From 10 August 1914, her married name became Clowes.

     Captain Winchester St. George Clowes married Hazel Mary Buxton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Fowell Buxton and Mary Harbord, on 10 August 1914.¹ He died on 25 February 1940.¹
