     Sir Walter Richard Nugent, 4th Bt. was born on 12 December 1865.1 He was the son of Sir Walter George Nugent, 2nd Bt. and Maria More O'Ferrall.2 He married Gladys Aileen O'Malley, daughter of Middleton Moore O'Malley and Letitia Josephine Keyes, on 15 June 1916.1 He died on 12 November 1955 at age 89.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.1 He was educated at University College Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Nugent, of Donore, co. Westmeath [U.K., 1831] on 5 February 1896.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Westmeath between 1907 and 1918.1 He was director and chairman of Dublin Board, Northern Assurance.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Westmeath.1 He was director of the Bank of Ireland in 1920.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Westmeath between 1922 and 1923.1 He was Peace Commissioner of the Irish Free State in 1924.1 He was vice-chairman of the Great Southern railway in 1924.1 He was Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ireland in 1924.1 He was chairman of Great Southern Amalgamated Railways in 1925.1 He was chairman of Irish Railway Clearing House in 1926.1 He was deputy chairman of Rosslare and Fishguard Railway and Harbour Board in 1926.1 He held the office of Senator [Irish Free State] in 1928.1

     Sir Peter Walter James Nugent, 5th Bt. was born on 26 January 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Richard Nugent, 4th Bt. and Gladys Aileen O'Malley.2 He married Anne Judith Smyth, daughter of Major Robert Smyth, in 1947.1 He died on 12 December 2002 at age 82.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1941 in the Hampshire Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1945 in the 10th Baluch Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Nugent, of Donore, co. Westmeath [U.K., 1831] on 12 November 1955.1 He was Tattersalls Irish Agent between 1973 and 1983.1 He was director of Tattersalls Newmarket and Tattersalls (Ireland) in 1989.1
