     Stephen Patrick Butler was born on 18 May 1968.¹ He is the son of Sir Richard Pierce Butler, 13th Bt. and Diana Borg.² He married Keeley Wilson in 1994.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He graduated from University of East Anglia, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).¹

     Keeley Wilson married Stephen Patrick Butler, son of Sir Richard Pierce Butler, 13th Bt. and Diana Borg, in 1994.¹
      From 1994, her married name became Butler.

     Rupert Dudley Butler was born on 18 July 1971.¹ He is the son of Sir Richard Pierce Butler, 13th Bt. and Diana Borg.² He married Carla Carbonaro, daughter of William Carbonaro, on 7 October 2000 at Malta.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.⁴ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).¹

     Anne Virginia Butler was born on 11 September 1973.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Richard Pierce Butler, 13th Bt. and Diana Borg.²

     Sir Thomas Butler, 1st Bt. was born illegitimately.² He was the son of Sir Edmund Butler.² He married Anne Colclough, daughter of Sir Thomas Colclough and Martha Loftus.¹ He died after 1639.²
     He held the office of Sheriff of County Carlow in 1612.² He held the office of Sheriff of County Carlow in 1622.² He was created 1st Baronet Butler, of Cloughgrenan, co. Carlow [Ireland] on 16 August 1628.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow [Ireland] from 1634 to 1635.² He lived at Cloughgrenan, County Carlow, Ireland.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow [Ireland] in 1639.¹

     Sir Thomas Colclough was born on 1 April 1564.² He was the son of Sir Anthony Colclough and Clare Agard.³ He married, firstly, Martha Loftus, daughter of Most Rev. Adam Loftus and Jane Purdon.⁴ He married, secondly, Eleanor Bagenal, daughter of Dudley Bagenal and Mabel Fitzgerald, in 1612.⁵ He died on 23 August 1624 at age 60.⁵
     He was invested as a Knight in 1591.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).⁵ He lived at Tintern Abbey, County Wexford, Ireland.⁵

     Anne Colclough is the daughter of Sir Thomas Colclough and Martha Loftus.^2,3 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Butler, 1st Bt., son of Sir Edmund Butler.¹ She married, firstly, Nicholas Bagenal, son of Dudley Bagenal and Katherine Nangle.¹
      Her married name became Bagenal. Her married name became Butler.⁴

     Sir Edmund Butler, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Butler, 1st Bt. and Anne Colclough.² He married Juliana Hyde, daughter of Bernard Hyde.¹ He died before 1653.³ He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow in 1653.³
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 5 June 1637.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Butler, of Cloughgrenan, co. Carlow [I., 1628] after 1639.¹
