Hardman Earle was born on 20 January 1825.1 He was the son of Sir Hardman Earle, 1st Bt. and Mary Langton.2 He was christened on 27 August 1825 at St. Peter's Church, Liverpool, England.3 He married Harriet Matilda Johnston, daughter of Edward Johnston, on 19 August 1852 at St. Catherine's Church, Liverpool, England.3 He died on 28 May 1853 at age 28, at sea on board SS Tagnus.3 He was buried on 30 May 1853 at English Cemetery, Lisbon, Portugal.3
