     Lt.-Col. Edward Austen Bradford was born on 8 December 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Ridley Colborne Bradford, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Adela Knight.1 He married Margaret Louisa Hardy, daughter of Herbert Carey Hardy and Adela Louisa Cassandra Knight, on 1 January 1908.1 He died on 5 June 1958 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1

Edward Austen Bradford, son of Sir Edward Ridley Colborne Bradford, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Adela Knight, on 1 January 1908.1 She died in 1972.1
     From 1 January 1908, her married name became Bradford.1

     Brigadier Berenger Colborne Bradford was born on 15 October 1912.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Austen Bradford and Margaret Louisa Hardy.1 He married Susan Vaughan-Lee, daughter of Colonel Arthur Vaughan Hanning Vaughan-Lee, on 30 October 1951.1 He died on 4 March 1996 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1932, in the service of the Black Watch.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1942.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.1 He was commander of the 5th Battalion, Black Watch between 1944 and 1946.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945 bar.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was commander of the 2nd Battalion, Black Watch between 1953 and 1956.1 He was admitted to Member, Royal Company of Archers.1 He retired from the military in 1959.1

     From 30 October 1951, her married name became Bradford.1 She lived in 2003 at The Flat, Kincardine, Kincardine O'Neil, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1
