     Phoebe Bonser was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Winfield-Bonser.1 She married, firstly, Oliver Baring, son of Walter Baring and Ellen Guarracino, on 27 February 1906.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Frederick Carey Stuckley Samborne-Palmer, son of Reverend Richard Lane Palmer Samborne, on 5 February 1946.1 She died on 8 May 1971.1
     From 27 February 1906, her married name became Baring.1 From 5 February 1946, her married name became Samborne-Palmer.1

     Rt. Hon. Sir John Winfield-Bonser was the son of Reverend John Bonser.2 He married Mary Catherine Colville, daughter of Colonel Hon. Sir William James Colville and Georgiana Mary Montagu Baillie, on 19 April 1899.1 He died on 9 December 1914.1
     He held the office of Chief Justice of Ceylon.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)2

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Carey Stuckley Samborne-Palmer was the son of Reverend Richard Lane Palmer Samborne.1 He married Phoebe Bonser, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Winfield-Bonser, on 5 February 1946.1 He died on 13 June 1950.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1

     Charles Edward Poulett-Thomson, 1st and last Baron Sydenham was born on 13 September 1799 at Waverley Abbey, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He was the son of John Buncombe-Poulett-Thomson and Charlotte Jacob.3,4 He died on 19 September 1841 at age 42 at Alwington House, Kingston, Ontario, CanadaG, from lockjaw, after a fall from his horse on the 4th.3
     He was given the name of Charles Edward Thomson at birth.1 He was created 1st Baron Sydenham, of Sydenham, co. Kent and of Toronto, in Canada [U.K.] on 19 August 1840.1
