     William Walter Alan Traill was born on 26 August 1902.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Stewart Traill and Selina Margaret Frizell.2 He married Joy Sofia Willington, daughter of Major James Arthur Willington, on 26 August 1930.1 He died on 3 November 1964 at age 62 at Kenya.1
