Mary Anne Eden was born in October 1785.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Eden and Mariana Jones.1 She married John Spalding on 19 December 1807.2 She married, secondly, Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux, son of Henry Brougham and Eleanor Syme, on 1 April 1819 at Coldwaltham, Sussex, England.1 She died on 12 January 1865 at age 79 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1
Mary Anne Eden was also known as Marianne Eden.2 From before 1819, her married name became Spalding.1 From 1 April 1819, her married name became Brougham.1 As a result of her marriage, Mary Anne Eden was styled as Baroness Brougham and Vaux on 22 November 1830.
