Lady Margaret Needham was born circa 1849 at Brighton, Sussex, England.2 She was the daughter of Francis Jack Needham, Viscount Newry and Mourne and Anne Amelia Colville.1 She married Rear-Admiral Hon. Algernon Charles Littleton, son of Edward Richard Littleton, 2nd Baron Hatherton and Lady Margaret Percy, on 11 August 1874.1 She died on 31 July 1940 at Westminster, London, England.1,2
From 11 August 1874, her married name became Littleton. In 1880 she was granted by royal warrant the rank of an earl's daughter.3
