Caroline Amelia Denman, daughter of Thomas Denman, 1st Baron Denman of Dovedale and Theodosia Anne Vevers, on 3 February 1846.1 He died on 17 July 1899 at age 77.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector at Bedale, Yorkshire, England.1

      From 3 February 1846, her married name became Beresford.1

     John Peirse de la Poer Beresford was born on 2 December 1846.1 He was the son of Reverend John George de la Poer Beresford and Hon. Caroline Amelia Denman.1 He married Mary Elizabeth Thomasina Bruce, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Stewart Beresford Bruce and Marriette Hill, on 25 August 1881.1 He died on 30 October 1902 at age 55.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the South Wales Borderers.1
