     Lt.-Col. Henry Stewart Beresford Bruce was born in 1824.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Henry William Bruce and Jane Cochrane.² He married, firstly, Marriette Hill, daughter of John Hill, in 1846.² He married, secondly, Frances Jane Augusta Hill, daughter of John Hill, in October 1894.² He died on 17 May 1908.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Lancashire Militia.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Derry.² He lived at Ballyscullion House, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹

     George Wilfred Bruce de la Poer Beresford was born in 1888.¹ He was the son of John Peirse de la Poer Beresford and Mary Elizabeth Thomasina Bruce.¹ He married Louisa Barbara Beck, daughter of Jacob Frederick Beck, in 1921.¹ He died on 30 March 1931.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Canadian Regiment.¹

     Louisa Barbara Beck was the daughter of Jacob Frederick Beck.¹ She married, firstly, George Wilfred Bruce de la Poer Beresford, son of John Peirse de la Poer Beresford and Mary Elizabeth Thomasina Bruce, in 1921.¹ She married, secondly, Ralph Jones Coles after 1931.¹ She died in 1969.¹
     From 1921, her married name became Beresford.¹ From after 1931, her married name became Coles.¹

     Ralph Jones Coles married Louisa Barbara Beck, daughter of Jacob Frederick Beck, after 1931.¹ He died in 1969.¹

     John George Beresford was born on 12 July 1923.¹ He is the son of George Wilfred Bruce de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Barbara Beck.¹ He married Edith Joan Mellanby, daughter of Henry Thomas John Mellanby and Edith Mary Rebecca Hewson, in 1947.¹

     Edith Joan Mellanby is the daughter of Henry Thomas John Mellanby and Edith Mary Rebecca Hewson.^1,2 She married John George Beresford, son of George Wilfred Bruce de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Barbara Beck, in 1947.¹
