Commander Hon. John Montagu Granville Waldegrave was born on 29 August 1905.1 He was the son of Montague Waldegrave, 5th Baron Radstock and Constance Marion Brodie.1 He married Lady Hersey Margaret Boyle, daughter of Captain Patrick James Boyle, 8th Earl of Glasgow and Hyacyinthe Mary Bell, on 29 June 1940.1 He died on 18 February 1944 at age 38, killed on active service on H.M.S. Penelope.1
