     Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. was born circa 1635.² He was the son of Sir Ludovic Houstoun of Houstoun and Margaret Maxwell.² He married Ana Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, 1st Lord Bargany and Lady Jean Douglas.² He died in 1696.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Houstoun on 29 February 1668.

     Susannah Barclay was the daughter of Sir William Bloyes Barclay of Pierston, 5th Bt. and Susanna Church.¹ She married Thomas de Mounteney on 22 June 1782.¹ She died on 5 January 1825, leaving issue.¹
     From 22 June 1782, her married name became de Mounteney.¹

     Thomas de Mounteney married Susannah Barclay, daughter of Sir William Bloyes Barclay of Pierston, 5th Bt. and Susanna Church, on 22 June 1782.¹
