Sir Jonathan Roger Backhouse, 4th Bt. was born on 30 December 1939.1 He was the son of Major Sir John Edmund Backhouse, 3rd Bt. and Jean Marie Frances Hume-Gore.1,2 He married Sarah Ann Stott, daughter of James Stott, on 11 July 1997.1 He died circa 19 January 2008.3

Gavin Robert Vernon Hume-Gore, on 3 June 1937.2 He died on 29 August 1944 at age 35 at Normandy, France, from wounds received in action.1
