Lincoln Edwin Stanhope was born on 6 April 1849.1 He was the son of Charles Wyndham Stanhope, 7th Earl of Harrington and Elizabeth Still de Pearsall.1 He married Helene de Bravura, daughter of Leon de Bravura and unknown de Galve, Countess de Galve, on 22 July 1885.1 He died on 1 July 1902 at age 53, accidentally drowned.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 7th Dragoon Guards.1
