     Major Lionel John Neville Neville was born in 1878.1 He was the son of James Sewell Neville and Emelyn Anna Stogdon.1 He married Agnes Lillian Fife Blewitt, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Blewitt, in 1910.1 He died on 17 December 1914, from wounds received in action.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War.1
