     Sir William Douglas lived at Garvaldfoot, Peebles-shire, Scotland.¹

     Sir Alexander Dick, 5th Bt. was born on 8 December 1786.¹ He was the son of Sir William Dick, 4th Bt. and Joanna Douglas.¹ He was baptised on 8 January 1787 at Duddingston, Midlothian, Scotland.² He died on 2 June 1808 at age 21, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Dick, of Prestonfield, co. Midlothian [S., 1707] on 19 November 1796.³

     Thomas Smith Cuninghame, 13th of Caprington was born before 1814.¹ He was the son of John Smith Cuninghame and Anne Dick, 12th of Caprington.¹ He died on 30 June 1857.¹

     Joanna Trotter Smith Cuninghame was the daughter of John Smith Cuninghame and Anne Dick, 12th of Caprington.¹ She married Reverend William Henry Cooper in March 1850.¹ She died in August 1868.¹
     From March 1850, her married name became Cooper.¹

     Reverend William Henry Cooper married Joanna Trotter Smith Cuninghame, daughter of John Smith Cuninghame and Anne Dick, 12th of Caprington, in March 1850.¹

     Agnes Joanna Dick was born on 27 April 1793.² She was the daughter of Sir William Dick, 4th Bt. and Joanna Douglas.¹ She was baptised on 6 July 1793 at Duddingston, Midlothian, Scotland.² She married Alexander Pringle, 9th of Whytbank, son of Alexander Pringle, 8th of Whytbank, on 12 January 1830.¹
     From 12 January 1830, her married name became Pringle.¹

     Alexander Pringle, 9th of Whytbank is the son of Alexander Pringle, 8th of Whytbank. He married Agnes Joanna Dick, daughter of Sir William Dick, 4th Bt. and Joanna Douglas, on 12 January 1830.¹

     Aarnout van Zuylen van Nijevelt was born on 2 July 1664 at Lingen, Germany.¹ He married Martha Maria van Lichtenberg, daughter of Lt.-Col. Philip Julius van Lichtenberg and Anna Ymans, on 26 September 1694 at Meeuwen, The Netherlands.¹ He died on 15 January 1731 at age 66 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.¹
     He held the office of Burgomaster of Rotterdam.¹

     Anna Philippina van Zuylen van Nijevelt was born on 18 September 1696 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.¹ She was the daughter of Aarnout van Zuylen van Nijevelt and Martha Maria van Lichtenberg.¹ She married Major Jean Baptiste de Salis, son of Gubert de Salis Edelherr von Maienfeld and Jacobea Freiin von Buol-Strassberg, circa 1717.¹

     Maria Anstruther was the daughter of James Anstruther.¹ She married William Cathcart Smith Cuninghame, 14th of Caprington, son of John Smith Cuninghame and Anne Dick, 12th of Caprington, on 3 August 1847.¹ She died on 20 November 1892.¹
     From 3 August 1847, her married name became Smith Cuninghame.¹
