     Nella Prudence Blake was born circa 1923.2 She was the daughter of Captain Gerald Stuart Blake.1 She married John Alfred Fergusson-Cuninghame, son of Lt.-Col. William Wallace Smith Cuninghame, 16th of Caprington and Ella Cutlar Fergusson, 20th of Craigdarroch, on 22 July 1946.1 She died on 6 February 2011.2
     From 22 July 1946, her married name became Fergusson-Cuninghame.1

     James Fergusson, 15th of Craigdarroch was born on 1 January 1713 at Craigdarroch, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Fergusson, 14th of Craigdarroch and Annie Laurie.1 He married, firstly, Euphemia Nisbet, daughter of Sir John Nisbet of Dean and Dirleton, 3rd Bt. and Anne Myrton, on 17 January 1743.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Dalrymple, daughter of Hon. George Dalrymple and Eupheme Myrton, on 8 January 1751.1 He died on 19 December 1771 at age 58 at Stenhouse, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2

     He was second Provincial Grand Master of Freemasons ofr Dumfries.1 He was a practising Advocate.1 He was the hero of Burns' song of 'The Whistle.1'
