     Mary Sutherland is the daughter of James Sutherland, 2nd Lord Duffus and Lady Margaret Mackenzie.^2,3 She married Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 3rd Bt. and Jane Sinclair.¹
     Her married name became Sinclair.

     Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. was born on 26 April 1715.¹ He was the son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 4th Bt. and Mary Sutherland.² A contract for the marriage of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. and Margaret Sinclair was signed on 27 November 1735.³ He died on 4 October 1760 at age 45.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Sinclair, of Canisbay, co. Caithness [N.S., 1631] on 26 March 1732.¹

     John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock was the son of George Sinclair, 1st of Barrock and Anne Dunbar.¹ He married by contract, firstly, Anne Sinclair, daughter of Robert Sinclair of Durran, on 25 July 1709.¹ He married, secondly, Janet Dunbar, daughter of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar, on 1 January 1738.² A contract for the marriage of John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock and Janet Dunbar was signed on 31 December 1737.¹ He died in 1743.¹

     Margaret Sinclair is the daughter of John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock and Anne Sinclair.^2,3 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Sinclair and Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. was signed on 27 November 1735.³

     Sir John Sinclair of Mey, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. and Margaret Sinclair.² He married Charlotte Sutherland, daughter of Eric Sutherland of Duffus and Elizabeth Dunbar.¹ He died on 26 March 1774.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Sinclair, of Canisbay, co. Caithness [N.S., 1631] on 4 October 1760.¹

     Caroline Charlotte Feichtegger was the daughter of Andreas Feichtegger and Maria (?)¹ She married W/Cdr. John Francis Grey, son of Major George Henry Ivar Grey and Kathleen Selina Douglas Blake, on 20 January 1947 at Mariazell, Austria^G.¹ She died in 1958.¹
     From 20 January 1947, her married name became Grey.¹

     Charlotte Sutherland is the daughter of Eric Sutherland of Duffus and Elizabeth Dunbar.² She married Sir John Sinclair of Mey, 6th Bt., son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. and Margaret Sinclair.¹
     She was also known as Catharine.³ Her married name became Sinclair.

     Harold Yorke Lidderdale Smith was born in 1859.¹ He was the son of Rev. Canon Sidney Lidderdale Smith and Hon. Frances Mary Scarlett.¹ He married Cecilia Duckworth, daughter of Reverend William Arthur Duckworth, in 1893.^1,2 He died in 1939.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)²

     General Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine was born in 1729.² He was the son of John Campbell, 5th of Barcaldine and Margaret Jean Campbell.² He married Helen Sinclair, daughter of George Sinclair of Ulbster and Janet Sutherland, on 1 August 1765.² He died on 22 April 1779.²
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1745 in the Argyllshire Militia.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1747 in the an independent company in the East Indies.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1753 in the 1st Royals.² He gained the rank of Major in 1757 in the Montgomery’s Highlanders.²

He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1761 in the 95th Buffons.² He was Deputy Governor of Fort St. George in 1774.³ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1777.²

     Jean Campbell was born circa 1769.² She was the daughter of General Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine and Helen Sinclair.^3,2 She married James Sinclair of Mey, 12th Earl of Caithness, son of Sir John Sinclair of Mey, 6th Bt. and Charlotte Sutherland, on 2 January 1784 at Thurso Castle, Thurso, Caithness, Scotland^G.² She died on 2 April 1853 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was buried at Canongate, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.²
     From 2 January 1784, her married name became Sinclair. After her marriage, Jean Campbell was styled as Countess of Caithness on 8 April 1789.
