     Mary Margaret Desiree Meynell was born on 25 October 1894.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Frederick George Lindley Meynell and Lady Mary Susan Félicie Lindsay.1 She married Evelyn Hugh John Boscawen, 8th Viscount Falmouth, son of Evelyn Edward Thomas Boscawen, 7th Viscount Falmouth and Hon. Kathleen Douglas-Pennant, on 17 March 1915.1 She died in 1985.1
     Her married name became Boscawen. After her marriage, Mary Margaret Desiree Meynell was styled as Viscountess Falmouth on 1 October 1918. She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)2 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.1

     Evelyn Edward Thomas Boscawen, 7th Viscount Falmouth was born on 24 July 1847.1 He was the son of Evelyn Boscawen, 6th Viscount Falmouth and Mary Frances Elizabeth Stapleton, Baroness le Despenser.1 He married Hon. Kathleen Douglas-Pennant, daughter of Colonel George Sholto Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Pamela Blanche Rushout, on 19 October 1886.1 He died on 1 October 1918 at age 71.1
     He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1885.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1886 in the Coldstream Guards.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron of Boscawen Rose, co. Cornwall [G.B., 1720] on 6 November 1889.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Falmouth, co. Cornwall [G.B., 1720] on 6 November 1889.1 He succeeded as the 14th Lord le Despenser [E., 1314] on 20 November 1891.1 He was Colonel of the Coldstream Guards in 1893.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1894 and 1895.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1897.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1898.1 He was Assistant Limitary Secretary to the Commander-in-Chief, Ireland in 1900.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1905.1 He was Deputy Warden of the Stannaries in 1911.1
