     Caroline Susan Elwes was born on 4 April 1845 at 3 Prior Buildings, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 She was the daughter of John Henry Elwes and Mary Bromley. She married Michael Edward Hicks-Beach, 1st Earl Saint Aldwyn, son of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. and Harriett Vittoria Stratton, on 6 January 1864 at South Molton, Devon, England.1 She died on 14 August 1865 at age 20 at 41 Portman Square, Marylebone, London, England, without issue.1,2
     Her married name became Hicks-Beach.

     Evelyn Sophia Hare was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Hare and Mary Christina Windham.1 She married Admiral Hon. William John Ward, son of Edward Southwell Ward, 3rd Viscount Bangor and Hon. Harriet Margaret Maxwell, on 29 April 1875.1 She died on 24 September 1925.1
     From 29 April 1875, her married name became Ward.1

     Arthur Charles Mitchell was born in 1847. He was the son of Francis Henry Mitchell. He married Laura Harriet Hicks-Beach, daughter of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. and Harriett Vittoria Stratton, on 19 November 1872 at Coln St. Aldwyn, Gloucestershire, England.1 He married Constance Lucy Elwes, daughter of John Henry Elwes and Mary Bromley, in January 1888. He died on 25 March 1917.2
     He lived at High Grove, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, England.3

     Her married name became Gibson.
