     Colonel Sir Alexander Campbell of Aberuchill, 6th Bt. was born on 10 August 1841 at Stoke Hall, Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir James Campbell of Aberuchill, 5th Bt. and Caroline Bromley.2 He married, firstly, Edith Frances Arabella Jauncey, daughter of Captain Alexander Sidney Godolphin Jauncey, on 8 February 1871.3 He married, secondly, Annie Augusta Mitford, daughter of Robert Henry Mitford, on 4 October 1893.3 He died on 23 May 1914 at age 72.3
     Colonel Sir Alexander Campbell of Aberuchill, 6th Bt. was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was commissioned in 1861, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He retired from the military in 1894, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Royal Artillery.3 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Campbell, of Aberuchill [N.S., 1668] on 27 March 1903.3

     Edith Frances Arabella Jauncey was the daughter of Captain Alexander Sidney Godolphin Jauncey.1 She married Colonel Sir Alexander Campbell of Aberuchill, 6th Bt., son of Sir James Campbell of Aberuchill, 5th Bt. and Caroline Bromley, on 8 February 1871.2 She died on 29 January 1884.2
     Her married name became Campbell.

William John Ward was born on 9 December 1829.1 He was the son of Edward Southwell Ward, 3rd Viscount Bangor and Harriet Margaret Maxwell.1 He married Evelyn Sophia Hare, daughter of Colonel Richard Hare, Viscount Ennismore and Hon. Catherine Bridget Dillon, on 29 April 1875.1 He died on 20 November 1900 at age 70, without issue.1
     Admiral Hon. William John Ward held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1

     Lieutenant James Colin Campbell was born on 25 November 1875.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Alexander Campbell of Aberuchill, 6th Bt. and Edith Frances Arabella Jauncey.2 He died on 5 May 1902 at age 26 at South Africa, killed on active service.1
     Lieutenant James Colin Campbell fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Cape Garrison Artillery.1
