     Sir David Wemyss of that Ilk was the son of Sir John Wemyss of Wemyss and Christian Abernethy.2 He married Janet Gray, daughter of Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray and Janet Keith, before 1513.1 He married Euphemia Lundie, daughter of Sir John Lundie of that Ilk and Elizabeth Forrester, before 11 May 1493.2 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, EnglandG, killed in action.3
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden Field on 9 September 1513.2
