Bernard III Kurfürst von Sachsen was born in 1140. He was the son of Albrecht I Markgraf von Brandenburg. He married, thirdly, Judith of Poland, daughter of Mieszko III, Duke of Poland and Elisabeth Arpád.1 He married, firstly, Brigitte (?), daughter of Knud V Magnuson, King of Denmark.1 He married, secondly, Sophia von Thüringen, daughter of Ludwig II Landgraf von Thüringen.1 He died on 2 February 1212.1

Edmund Beckett, 1st Baron Grimthorpe was born on 12 May 1816.2 He was the son of Sir Edmund Beckett, 4th Bt. and Maria Beverley.2,3 He married Fanny Catherine Lonsdale, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Lonsdale and Sophia Boland, on 7 October 1845.3 He died on 29 April 1905 at age 88, without issue.3
