Sir George Sidney Clive and Madeline Buxton, on 8 February 1934.1 She and Brigadier Archer Francis Lawrence Clive were divorced in 1949.3 She married, secondly, David Arthur Salvin Bowlby, son of Arthur Salvin Bowlby and Catherine Mary Bowlby Bond, on 1 March 1949.1
     From 8 February 1934, her married name became Clive. From 1 March 1949, her married name became Bowlby.
