     Euan Norman Jersey McCorquodale was born on 22 October 1929.1 He was the son of Brigadair Norman Duncan McCorquodale and Barbara Helen de Knoop.1 He married, firstly, Ann Sybella Sarah Penelope Clive, daughter of Brigadier Archer Francis Lawrence Clive and Hon. Penelope Isobel Portman, on 7 December 1955.1 He and Ann Sybella Sarah Penelope Clive were divorced in 1965.1 He married, secondly, Sally Seabourne May, daughter of Colonel W. D. Seabourne May, on 24 April 1969.2 He died on 3 August 2010 at age 80.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th K. R. I. Hussars.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1

     George Lawson Johnston, 1st Baron Luke was born on 9 September 1873.3 He was the son of John Lawson Johnston and Elizabeth Elliott Lawson.3 He married Hon. Edith Laura St. John, daughter of Beauchamp Moubray St. John, 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Helen Charlotte Thornton, on 4 December 1902.3 He died on 23 February 1943 at age 69.3
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1920.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bedfordshire.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1924.3 He was director of Lloyds Bank.3 He was director of National Bank of Australia.3 He was created 1st Baron Luke, of Pavenham, co. Bedford [U.K.] on 9 July 1929.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire.3
