     Woodrow (Thomas) Wilson was born on 28 December 1856 at Staunton, Virginia, U.S.A.. He was the son of Reverend Joseph Ruggles Wilson and Janet (Jessie) Woodrow. He married Ellen Louise Axson on 24 June 1885 at Savannah, Georgia, U.S.A.. He married Edith Bolling on 18 December 1915 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.. He died on 3 February 1924 at age 67 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.. He was buried at Washington Cathedral, Washington, D.C., U.S.A..
     Because the Republikan Party was split Wilson won the 1912 election over both
Theodore Roosevelt and William Taft by a popular vote of 6,296,547 to
4,118,571 and 3,486,720, and an electoral vote of 435 to 88 and 8. Won in
1912 reelection over Charles E. Hughes by votes of 9, 127,695 to 8,533,507
and 277 to 254. Thomas R. Marshall served as his vice-president during both
terms. Tried to keep the USA out of World War I. He was US President No. 28.
