     Peter Francis Walter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian was born on 8 September 1922.1 He was the son of Captain Andrew William Kerr and Marie Constance Annabel Kerr.1 He married Antonella Newland, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Foster Reuss Newland and Agnes Carr, on 30 April 1943 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, London, England.2 He died on 11 October 2004 at age 82.3
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded to the title of 14th Lord Kerr of Nisbet, Langnewtoun and Dolphinstoun [S., 1633] on 12 December 1940.1 He succeeded to the title of 15th Lord Jedburgh [S., 1622] on 12 December 1940.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Ker of Kersheugh, co. James Church before 1954.1 She married, secondly, George Victor Robert John Innes-Ker, 9th Duke of Roxburghe, son of Henry John Innes-Ker, 8th Duke of Roxburghe and Mary Goelet, on 5 January 1954.1 She married, thirdly, Jocelyn Olaf Hambro, son of Ronald Olaf Hambro and Winifred Emily Ridley-Smith, in 1976.1 She died in 1983.1
      Margaret Elisabeth McConnel usually went by her middle name of Elisabeth.4 From before 1954, her married name became Church.1 Her married name became Innes-Ker. From 1976, her married name became Hambro.

     John Henry Montaqu Manners, 9th Duke of Rutland was born on 21 September 1886. He was the son of Henry John Brinsley Manners, 8th Duke of Rutland and Marion Margaret Violet Lindsay. He married Kathleen Tennant, daughter of Francis John Tennant and Annie Geraldine Redmayne, on 27 January 1916.1 He died on 22 April 1940 at age 53.
     He gained the title of 9th Duke of Rutland.
