     Ursula von Pannwitz was the daughter of Walter de Pannwitz.1 She married, firstly, John Buxton Pelham, 8th Earl of Chichester, son of Jocelyn Brudenell Pelham, 6th Earl of Chichester and Ruth Buxton, on 27 March 1940.1 She married, secondly, Ralph Gunning Henderson, son of E. W. Henderson, on 8 May 1957.1 She and Ralph Gunning Henderson were divorced in 1971.1 She died in 1989.1
     As a result of her marriage, Ursula von Pannwitz was styled as Countess of Chichester on 27 March 1940. From 27 March 1940, her married name became Pelham. From 8 May 1957, her married name became Henderson.1

John Pelham, 9th Earl of Chichester 2
     John Nicholas Pelham, 9th Earl of Chichester was born posthumously on 14 April 1944.1 He is the son of John Buxton Pelham, 8th Earl of Chichester and Ursula von Pannwitz.1 He married June Marijke Wells, daughter of G/Capt. E. D. Wells, on 10 December 1975.3
     John Nicholas Pelham, 9th Earl of Chichester succeeded to the title of 14th Baronet Pelham, of Laughton, co. Sussex [E., 1611] on 14 April 1944.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baron Pelham of Stanmer, co. Sussex [G.B., 1762] on 14 April 1944.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Chichester [U.K., 1801] on 14 April 1944.1 He was educated at Stanbridge Earls School, Romsey, Hampshire, England.4 He lived in 2003 at Little Durnford Manor, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.3
