     Sir Edmund Bedingfield was born in 1479.1 He married Catherine Marney, daughter of Henry Marney, 1st Baron Marney.1 He died in 1553.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1523 for bravery in battle.1 He lived at Oxburgh Hall, King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.1

     Sir Wilfrid Grigson was born in 1896 at Pelynt, Cornwall, England.2 He was the son of Canon William Shuckforth Grigson and Mary Beatrice Boldero.2 He married Phyllis May H. Bainbridge in 1920 at Driffield, Yorkshire, England.2 He died on 26 November 1948 at Vehari, Punjab, Pakistan, killed in a plane crash in which he was a passenger.3
     He was educated at Leatherhead School.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Machine Gun Corps.3 He fought in the First World War.3 He was with the Indian Civil Service in 1922.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He was Deputy Commissioner of the Central Provinces and Berar.3 He lived at Pelynt, Cornwall, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1948.3
