     James Allen David Woodhouse, 4th Baron Terrington was born on 30 December 1915.1 He was the son of Horace Martin Woodhouse, 3rd Baron Terrington and Valerie Phillips. He married Suzanne Irwin, daughter of Colonel Thomas Strutt Irwin and Marjorie Willis Lacy, on 7 November 1942.1 He died on 6 May 1998 at age 82.1
     He was memb London Stock Exchange, ptnr Messrs Sheppards and –80, dir S J Carr and County (Gunmakers) Ltd, dep chm: Wider Share Ownership Cncl, London Ctee Oxfam, Ctees House Lds 1961–63, memb Ecclesiastical Ctee 1979–98, V-Pres Small Farmers' Assoc, Dep Chse 1952.1 He was educated Winchester and RMC Sandhurst.1 James Allen David Woodhouse, 4th Baron Terrington usually went by his middle name of David. He gained the title of 4th Baron Terrington. He was Major (ret ) Royal Norfolk Regiment and Queen's Westminster Rifles (KRRC) Territorial Army WW II (wounded), Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding Madras 1940 in 1948.1

     Rena de Vere Humphrey Shapland Swiny was born circa October 1898 at Marylebone, London, England.1 She was the daughter of Captain William Molyneux Shapland Swiny and Violet Jerningham.1 She married, thirdly, Harold James Selborne Woodhouse, 2nd Baron Terrington, son of James Thomas Woodhouse, 1st Baron Terrington and Jessie Reed, on 28 July 1927 at British Consulate, Boulogne, France.2 She married, fourthly, Anthony James Billingham on 9 January 1938 at Reno, Nevada, U.S.A.2 She died on 21 August 1965 at Baldwin, Georgia, U.S.A.2
     From 28 July 1927, her married name became Woodhouse. From 9 January 1938, her married name became Billingham.2

     Captain William Molyneux Shapland Swiny is the son of Captain Shapland Swiny.1 He married Violet Jerningham, daughter of Augustus Frederick FitzHerbert Stafford-Jerningham, 10th Baron Stafford and Mary Pullin, on 4 June 1897 at Portsea, Hampshire, England.1

     James Thomas Woodhouse, 1st Baron Terrington was born on 16 July 1852.3 He was the son of James Thomas Woodhouse and Dorothy Marton.4 He married Jessie Reed, daughter of Walter James Reed, on 9 August 1876.3 He died on 8 February 1921 at age 68.3
     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3 He lived Huddersfield.3 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Buckinghamshire.3 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) E R Yorkshire.3 He gained the title of 1st Baron Terrington. He was educated in 1871 Hull College and UCL (LLB ).3 He was slr , twice Pres Hull Law Soc, Pres Yorkshire Law Soc, memb Cncl Incorporated Law Society UK, Alderman Hull, CC E R Yorkshire 1888–96, Mayor Hull 1890–91, knighted 1895, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) Huddersfield 1895–1906 (Lib Parly candidate in 1873.3 He was a practising Solicitor.1 On 19 January 1918 so created.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Horace Martin Woodhouse, 3rd Baron Terrington was born on 27 October 1887.1 He was the son of James Thomas Woodhouse, 1st Baron Terrington and Jessie Reed. He married Valerie Phillips, daughter of George Allen Phillips, on 28 May 1914.1 He married, secondly, Phyllis Mary Drew, daughter of William Wilson Drew, on 22 October 1959. He died on 7 January 1961 at age 73.1
     He was educated Winchester and New College Oxford.1 He gained the title of 3rd Baron Terrington. He was barrister Inner Temple , Pncpl Assist Sec Minister Labour 1941–44, Chm: Nat/l Arbitration Tbnl 1947, Industl Court 1947, Air Tport Advsry Cncl 1947, Dep Speaker and Dep Chm Ctees House Lds 1948 in 1911.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1952.1
