     He was Professor of Psychiatry between 1966 and 1980 at St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, London, England.1 He was President, Royal College of Psychiatrists between 1975 and 1978.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1978.1 He was President, British Medical Association between 1978 and 1979.1
